Here is a list of suggested apps that we use:
Although in the past few decades much has been written and translated into English about the life of General San Martín, at the institute we always recommend beginning with “San Martín: Argentine Patriot, American Liberator” (2001) by Prof. Dr. John Lynch.
Prof. Dr. John Lynch (11 January 1927 – 4 April 2018) was a Professor of Latin American History at the University of London. He spent most of his academic career at University College, and then from 1974 to 1987 as Director of theInstitute of Latin American Studies. The main focus of his work was Spanish America in the period 1750–1850.
Also, we recommend reading “Don José de San Martín (1778-1850), A Study of His Career” by Mrs Anna Johnston Schoellkopf (d. 1950).
Ms Schoellkofp was a socially-prominent lady from Washington, USA, wife of a retired diplomat, who researched and published about the life and achievements of General San Martín in the English language. Her book was originally published in New York in 1924.
