Aligned with the BSMI Constitution, the establishment and development of Regional Branches aims to extend the network and the activities of the institute through a diverse range of social and scientific activities, projects, and programmes.
Having recognised that the institute has members in various places around the United Kingdom, we promote the establishment and development of BSMI Regional Branches.
Often BSMI Branches will find themselves joining forces with other Branches and Committees to develop common activities.
The creation of new BSMI Branches must be approved BSMI Board of Trustees once the following conditions are met:
– Submit a letter of incorporation requesting the establishment of a new BSMI Regional Branch, with the compromise of respecting the BSMI Constitution and the BSMI Rules & Procedures.
– Have at least five (5) members registered, including a Coordinator, a Secretary, and a Treasurer.
– Present a list of local and regional activities to develop. A comprehensive report must be submitted annually.
