For example, the exhibition \u201cBANFF 1824\u201d to commemorate the bicentenary of the visit of General San Mart\u00edn to Scotland.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>BSMI CONFERENCES &amp; SEMINARS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 To coordinate, promote, and advertise online and live events to disseminate historical information in the English language<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><li>\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>BSMI EXHIBITIONS\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 To coordinate, promote, and advertise local, national and international exhibitions to disseminate historical information both in English and Spanish.<\/li><li>\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>BSMI PUBLICATIONS\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 To coordinate and promote writing, compilation, curation, translation, edition, and publication of scientific historical research in the English language.<\/li><li>\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>BSMI HISTORICAL RESEARCH\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 To coordinate research, analysis, and preservation of original documents, bibliography, and other relevant resources, to produce new scientific historiographical knowledge.\u00a0<\/li><li>\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>BSMI TWINING AND FIELD TRIPS\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 To coordinate and promote cooperation and exchange with other similar institutions, while organising activities in the relevant places where General San Mart\u00edn lived or spent time.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Often BSMI Committees will find themselves joining forces to develop common activities.<\/em><\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>The creation of new BSMI Committees must be approved BSMI Board of Trustees once the following conditions are met:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>&#8211; Have at least three (3) members including a Coordinator and a Sub-Coordinator.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>&#8211; Present a list of activities to develop.
